An ad for Marc Jacobs perfume (that bottle probably weighs more than her)

Renoir's Girl Streched out on the Grass 1890

I thought the colors and the whole "we're laying around in the grass" thing looked very similar
-Emily Coldiron

The advertisement uses similar coloring, clothing, and stance as the George Washington oil painting shown above.

I thought this fashion ad used some of the same posing, (lounging on a couch), coloring and facial expression as these two oil paintings.

A spoof advertisement made to look like Rodin's "The thinker".

This is a painting titled 'Yellow, Grey, Black' done by Jackson Pollock in the 1940's.

And this is the cooking wear ad from 2008 that is similar to the Pollock painting. Notice the tagline on the ad that reads "Why cook when you can create?".

Here's a hotel's ad campaign modelled after Renaissance painting Venus Rising by Sandro Botechelli.

Klimt/Diane von Furstenberg

Gustav Klimt's symbolism appeals to Diane von Furstenberg's aesthetic:

"The Dancer," circa 1916

Diane von Furstenberg ad, circa 2008

This advertisement for a restaurant closely resembles Savador Dali's painting of melting clocks.
